After several days of oppressive heat and thunderstorms, a cooler air mass moves across Quebec from July 16 to 19, bringing welcome relief.

Gusty winds are expected along the coasts. In the morning, some areas such as Centre-du-Québec remained under heavy, humid air, but conditions were forecast to improve later in the day.
