CANADA VIBES NEWSROOM · ÉDITION DU SOIR | EVENING EDITION · July 15, 2026
The Centre-du-Québec region was placed under tornado watches and severe thunderstorm warnings on July 15, 2026. A hot and very humid air mass created conditions favourable to severe weather across several parts of the region.
Severe thunderstorms can bring destructive wind gusts, hail and heavy rain capable of causing localized flooding. Authorities are urging caution and real-time monitoring of alerts.
What to watch
Watches and warnings can change quickly. If a tornado warning is issued, take shelter on the lowest level of a sturdy building, away from windows. Check Environment Canada notices for updates.
